The researchers of PRICE lab bring their expertise to the corporate world and develop different types of corporate activities and services, as summarized below.
The chair supports the ambitious research agenda in Sustainable Finance of the research group “Financial Management for the Future”, team of the Research Unit of HEC Liège.
Different research teams within the FM4F group directly contribute to the academic research in sustainable finance but also intend to serve the industry needs which need to navigate across the different regulations and the evolutive financial context. These teams focus their work on timely issues about the linkages between financial and sustainability indicators with a managerial mindset. Eventually, the outcome of their research should have an impact on financial investment and risk management decisions, not only at the institutional level, but also in order to enhance the quality of individual decision making regarding sustainable finance.
Professor Marie Lambert collaborates with Ethias (a Belgian insurance company) on various questions regarding sustainable investment, among which the information content of the so-called « ESG » (Environmental, Social, and Governance) corporate ratings, ESG reporting for financial investment, and the integration of ESG factors into investment decisions and portfolio management.
