Corporate Finance

The level 1 course in Corporate Finance provides students with a toolbox to conduct valuation of investment project  and understand the drivers of firm valuation.

Advanced courses in Corporate Finance and Financial Analysis

Students can specialize by enrolling in Advanced Corporate Finance or an advanced course of Strategic Financial Analysis. The former course trains students to conduct valuation, to structure a leveraged buyout on a real target company. It also discusses the latest advancements in the field such as the impact for firm decision on financial markets, financing decision and advanced techniques for investment projects.  The latter consists of preparing a comprehensive equity research on a publicly listed company.

Students generally position very well on the job market after following these courses but also on the international scale. Indeed, attached to the course offering, HEC Liège has been the winner or among the finalists of prestigious competitions (CFA Research Challenge organized by the CFA Institute, Global Oxford Private Equity Challenge).

Fund Industry

This is a unique course designed at HEC Liège. It provides a comprehensive understanding the industry of investment fund, including their investment strategies, legal structure and framework, and service providers.

Long-life learning

Training in valuation with a special focus on small private firms have been developed to serve the needs of the local economic ecosystem.
